Tino turns 5 !!!

Wait! When did time go by so quickly?? My baby baby is 5 !(insert surprised emoji face).

We moved to our new home in Delray Beach FL in June 2019. Prior to this we were living in California and left there in 2018. While our home was being built, we stayed at my home in NY that was just sitting there unoccupied for a year. It was the “easiest” transition leaving California. Anyway, with so much going on , Tino never really had a birthday party since his big 1st bday in Cali. So I felt like this was the perfect time to throw him a big bday bash for a birthday celebration. We live in a wonderful community with a TON of kids and having spent the summer here we made so many friends. He is in Pre school and also made friends there. It just seemed like the perfect time to celebrate Tino + our move with all our new friends.

In California I had my people. My go-to party suppliers, events coordinators, Balloon artists, catering… the works. But having just moved to South Florida, I had to start from scratch. After asking my instagram community for some ideas and doing some research, I found my NEW go-to Party people. So first I’ll start with who I used and what they did for Tino’s party, and the Ill share his birthday celebration video and additional pictures.

Event Venue: The Addison
The Addison is typically a wedding and bar/bat mitzvah venue, but when my Birthday celebration coordinator event scouted the place and sent me pictures and video, the space fit the theme perfectly. I ended up going there the following week to see it in person before I committed and fell in love. The plus to me was that The Addison has a full kitchen and could do all of the food and desserts in house. I also loved that they had a Parking lot and Valet right on site.

Event Management + Coordinator: Cool Corner Events
WOW! This was the Gem of all gems to find. Ali is the owner and boss of Cool Corner Events. She can pull almost anything together and make anything happen ( and in not a lot of time). Her ideas were amazing for the birthday celebration. Her team was amazing… literally everything Ali does is to perfection. Ali came to my house and we sat and discussed theme,decor, food… all details. She handled all coordinating, booking, putting all payment details on one page (life saver)… Every detail.

Exclusive Party Rental: BambiniSoire
Bambini was actually referred to me first by my Event planner in LA ( Send In The Clowns. If you’re in SoCal, you MUST use Leesa)
Then, the I reached out to Ali and mentioned their name, she already knew them very well, so I knew I had found another gem. They rent, they build, they customize… They have the most unique pieces for ay theme party. They truly took Tino’s Treasure Island birthday party to the next level. We took a typical wedding venue room and completely transformed it into a pirates dream.

Event Decor + Styling : My Papilot
Imary is the style and design behind My Papilot. She came up with amazing ideas for design for Tinos party. From the color and style of the ballots, to the way they should hang, to the table decor, setting up the room. She is Ali’s right hand girl and partner in crime. Both go hand in hand. She listened to everything I wanted and put her twist on it, coming up with more ideas, designs and things I wouldn’t have even thought of. Graphic Design + Custom paper goods: AliBombo CSS
Ali helped design Tino save the date and invitation along with with party Logo. She also did all of the custom paper dessert holders and wrappers fro the custom candy and candy bars in the goodies bags. Her work is super unique and really upgraded the over all feel.
I think it was nice to work for a birthday celebration.

Cake + Dessert: Earth & Sugar
OMG the Cake!!! If you haven’t seen Tino’s cake yet, just wait! Earth + Sugar not only tastes amazing ( you know because some cakes look good and taste bad or vice versa), but she did the most amazing cake! She also did the custom cupcakes and made a special Birthday cake for my Dad who had just celebrated a birthday as well. I can not say enough good things about this company, but feel like the pictures will speak for themselves!!

Custom XL Piñata: Master Piñata
We had a HUGE custom pirate ship Piñata made for the kids for Tinos party. Tino is super visual, and I wanted to make sure that he had the opportunity to hit the piñata with a stick, but I didn’t want it to get out of hand and take forever for the kids. So, they added these pull strings where the kids can pull multiple strings and eventually open up the bottom. It was perfect to have both since some of the kids were really young. The pirate ship was such a hit!

Entertainment/ DJ : Recrea USA
DJ was great. Played a mix of pop hits, kid friendly music, and had everything needed to keep the party going.

Characters : Caroline Party
Tino LOVES characters , especially pirates and mermaids, so it was essential to have characters at his party. We decided to have 2 mermaids and 2 pirates, since I knew Tino would most likely hog one of them. Caroline Party characters were amazing with the kids. They were super involved, danced, did conga lines, worked with the DJ, did crafts with the kids… They were amazing and looked amazing!

Photo + Video: Habia Una Vez Una Foto
This company was recommended by Ali from Cool Corner events. They did an amazing job taking direction, and executing all of the images I wanted to get. They got people together for pictures, took amazing detail shots and also handled the video. They were such pleasure to work with.

Chic Kids Activities: Lovely Locks Parties
I’m so happy to have worked with this company. They have a huge selection of activities for both boys and girls. Since Niko was 1 years old, I have always had a “build a bear” station at every birthday thrown with outfits to match the theme, so i was thrilled to be able to have it for Tino’s party since it’s always a hit with the kids and adults. We chose 3 stations, a Build an Animals station with 2 outfit selections, a slime station, because what kid doesn’t love slime, and a treasure chest painting station. It was a blast and the tables were full the entire time.

Custom Printed Water Bottles: Savanni Water
I was obsessed when I saw what this company could do. All of the parties I have thrown, I always have water bottles for the adults and kids. It’s easy to solve serve and grab, but I wanted it to be special. Usually I have custom labels printed and added to regular water bottles, but this was unique and totally custom, not to mention alkaline. I had a picture of Tino’s face done by a graphic artist ( listed below) and then added that to the Logo that was done for his party. We then sent it to Savanni and they edited it and added it to the water bottle. I did custom red tops to give it a pop of color. The process was easy and people LOVEd the bottles. Some even took them home to fill and re-use.

Found her on instagram and fell in love with her cartoon style logos. I sent her a picture of Tino and within a few days, sent me her edit of him. She was super easy and friendly to work with, made adjustments and executed exactly what I was looking for.

Stylish Photo Booth: Photo Fancy Booth
One word, OBSESSED! I wanted something that people could do themselves, that you could send virtually to yourself via email or text, and that also printed so you could take home the picture(s) with you = enter Photo Fancy. This was such a hit and a must for any event and party! It’s also great for businesses because it keeps a list of the emails or phone numbers entered. You can also add your own logo to the bottom of each picture! Must Have!!!

My Cool Desserts

These were SO yummy and authentic. We included these in the custom paper goods made by AliBombo to be take home goodies for the adults. They were made to perfection. We did a small selection of different things and everyone loved them. You can contact Ali and ask her which ones we did for Tino’s party. So delish
