Niko’s 4th Birthday!!

My first born is 4!
Now that Niko is getting bigger and older, I wanted to throw a birthday world party that let all the kids get their energy out, but that the adults could also enjoy and maybe even get a break.

I found a place near Nikos school that is amazing. Its called Kids World LA. Usually I’m not entirely about the indoor play areas because they seem dirty, however this is family owned and operated and felt very clean. There were a few things that were a major sell for me. First was that I was able to rent out the entire place for a certain amount of time so only Niko and his friends would be there They call it a “buy out” on their website. Sometimes at these party places, you never know what age group will be coming in or how rough the kids will be. I was able to decorate the entire eating area with my team who I have used since Niko’s first birthday; Send in the Clowns LA ! Leesa always comes up with the most amazing things to truly make the party feel custom and unique. The second major sell was that they offered vegan and gluten free food. Aside form their daily cafe items, they have an entire menu for private parties. Niko’s school is vegan and gluten free, so it was really important I had those options. The 3rd was that they had an arcade as well as a huge indoor gym, and I was allowed to have it be unlimited for the kids. Meeting with the owner for my party meant a lot. I also remember companies and businesses who’s owners are there helping run the show.

The theme for Niko’s birthday world was a super hero. Leesa has the most amazing characters, I always get men and women characters so all the kids find someone they love and enjoy. For activities besides the play area and arcade, we did super hero cookie decorating, a balloon artist, glitter tattoos, and a super hero dress up station.
As goodie bags, we did gift buckets so the kids could reuse them to hold markers, crafts or take to the beach. Inside we added super hero lego surprise bags, silly straws, homemade super hero crayons, super hero sweat bands and other fun items to limit the amount of candy.
